Interesting product; a couple of idiosyncrasiesReview by NapaBob

Just used this as our bear hang for a 5-day, 5-guy hike in the Emigrant Wilderness. The hi-vis is nice, and it's true that it slides easily. There are two unexpected things about this line:
1) After the third night, the line in the knot area began taking on a consistency like waxed dental floss, or rosin on a violin bow. That fourth morning I struggled for 5 minutes to undo my bowline knot, but it had somehow almost stuck itself together. I had to cut it to get our bags loose, and discarded about a foot of the line. I need to experiment more with that and see what the deal is.
2) The thinner the line, the harder it is on your hands! I had to wear thick gloves while hoisting our food bags. And since it's slippery I had to wrap it once or twice around my hand before hoisting. Be prepared for that. (Posted on 7/5/13)
