Minimalist Ultralight Daypack
- Product Review (submitted on December 22, 2013):
Pro: weight, size, comfort and simple style.
Con: the foam insert works it's way out of sleeve. Interior zippered pouch could be a little bigger.
I bought this to replace an old/cramped and heavy camelbak pack for day hikes.
Before I could even use it for a hike I took a new job and relocated. The bag came with me, and was instantly turned into my bike bag. Helmet fits nicely in the exterior pocket, laptop slides into the main body. The new job also included travel, and this proved to be a great carry on bag, simple, unassuming and can carry a lot of gear.
Finally got to use it on day hikes, and it is extremely comfortable all day with the wide straps, obviously weighs almost nothing, and has been plenty sturdy.
I'll add a little velcro to hold in the foam pad, and then give my own pack 5 stars :).
