LT4 Trekking Poles (adjustable)

I have owned two pairs of these poles over the years. In the past GG would do a one time replacement of a section on a broken pole "which happens VERY easily". It appears now not only has the price increased they are charging up to $45 for a replacement section plus $10 shipping. The second pair I had for only a few days and took it out on a cold day on PCT this weekend. The bottom snapped within a few hours. I'm 5'8 and 150 lbs buy no means a big guy. $200 plus dollars for a pair of light but inferior poles. I cant in good faith recommend this product to anyone.
