In truth, I was reluctant to buy these poles because I'm a big guy, 6'4", 235 lbs, AND I was on a limited budget. But these poles performed far better than expected, and are one of the best investment I've made. They should be ranked right up there with The Big 3. Their feather weight will noticeably reduce fatigue, and they are strong enough for the stoutest of hikers, if you treat them with respect and care. In all honesty, these poles have improved my life on the trail, allowing me a faster, longer pace. To anyone reading this review with the same reservations, I encourage you to take the plunge. You will not regret buying these poles.
