I used to laugh at people who used hiking poles as I passed them. The strains on my body on the downhills were taking the toil on my body. I needed something to support my shelter and bought the LT4s. My lower body now gets a break, my upper body gets a workout, my shelter gets support, and I still pass people hiking. NowI laugh at people who I pass who don't use poles. Don't look back because I'm gaining on you!
