The Trek Badger Sponsorship 2017

Calling all 2017 aspiring thru-hikers: Want your chance at more than $10,000 worth of backpacking gear and resources? Gossamer Gear has teamed up with The Trek (formerly Appalachian Trials) to sponsor a handful of lucky AT, PCT, and/or CDT 2017 thru-hikers for The Badger Sponsorship 2017.

The Badger Sponsorship began in 2012 as an effort to pay forward the goodwill given to The Trek’s owner Zach Davis before and during his thru-hike and this year the prizes are bigger than ever! Winners will receive prize packages with gear, shoes, socks, food, stuff sacks, water filtration and more –  the top three packages include your choice of one Gossamer Gear Backpack.

Entries to the contest, in the form of a video no longer than 90 seconds, will be accepted until no later than 7pm EST on Monday, January 16th.
