I bought my G4 last winter and took it out on the Teton Crest Trail this summer. It performed perfectly, despite a close encounter with a Marmot while we were off swimming in Marion Lake. On top of that after finishing the trek, my buddy who has been an adamant external frame user finally warmed up to the idea of using a more minimalist pack.
