Cindy (and camera man Mike) at SoulSurviorX2 did this awesome video review of our G4.  Check it out along with some other great videos.

Description:  Review of the Gossamer Gear G4 Ultralight Backpack. Durable, lightweight value priced. Took this hiking on the Appalachian Trail for 3 days in freezing temps and snow on Blood Mountain and it performed flawlessly. Very good ultralight backpack. Just our 2 cents…

Yeah…….she’d be customer of the week too in my book. Did she mention anything about a backpack?

All right. I’ve seen some of her, um, videos. She does do a very good job of bridging the gap between Gung-ho hikers and newer people wanting to learn about new things and ideas. (a tough crowd) She says a bunch of great things about Gossamer Gear and makes things interesting. Good choice.

I used the G4 this year in Indonesia 1 month. In bus or others vehicles it’s very easy to modify the shape of the G4 to put it in all small spaces because there isn’t rigid system in it. The G4 is also very comfortable and durable for hiking in the rain forest. There are lot of trees with sharp pins in the rain forest. The G4 dry very fast. You can cross the rivers with it. After 10 minutes it’s completely dry. This characteristic is important because you aren’t obliged to carry in the belt the water from the river or from the rain. But you must put your gear in a inner plastic bag because the G4 isn’t waterproof. The G4 is a very good choice.

I think it’s a testament to the product that someone who’s obviously not an expert can appreciate its value. These are the kind of customers – new to lightweight backpacking – that Gossamer Gear wants to help.
