Your satisfaction is very important to us, and we understand the difficulty in evaluating products that are primarily sold over the Internet. If, after receiving a product, you realize it is not what you expected, please return it unused within 30 days for a full refund of the product cost. Please include the copy of the Packing Slip that was sent with your order (you can also go online and reprint your order). There is no need to contact Gossamer Gear prior to the return. The 30-day policy starts the date it leaves our building and ends the date it arrives back in our building. You will receive a 100% refund on the product if it is returned within this time.
Gossamer Gear is not responsible for the return shipping costs and damaged or lost items in return transit. We recommend all return items be insured and have a tracking number to assure the safest delivery back to our location.
31 – 60 days a 10% deduction will come off the product cost
61 – 90 days a 15% deduction will come off the product cost
91 – 120 days a 20% deduction will come off the product cost
No item can be returned after 120 days.
We try to process returns as quickly as possible, but it may take longer during the high season. Delay on our behalf will not be reflected on the date the package arrived back to us. Although delays are not frequent, we apologize in advance if you experience this.
Items that have factory packaging such as Gear Aid, Evernew, and Sawyer Products can be returned if they are not removed from the packaging. If they have been removed, we cannot accept them. We apologize, however, we have no way to repackage the items, and we cannot restock them as a new item.
Please send packs back to us the same way they arrived: remove the sitlight and the belt, lay them back in the box and do not cut the extra shock cord. We ask because this belts can become bent and twisted and sitlight pads can become worn if they are left in the pack on return transit.
TENTS AND TARPS:
Please fold tents and tarps neatly and place back in the box when returning. If you do not intend to keep the unit, please do not cut the line—a charge will occur if it is cut. Tarps and tents cannot be returned once they have been seam sealed. Because we will no longer be able to sell the item as new, your refund will reflect the amount we can sell the unit as used.
Please send the poles back in the same manner they were sent to you. Do not send the poles back to us with the baskets attached. Instead, place them back in the bag in which they arrived.
SECONDS FOUND ON THE DEALS PAGE:
These items are factory seconds or clearance items. Sales on these items are final and cannot be returned for any reason.
