RikSak Uberlight Daypack
Our featured product of the month is our recently released RikSak. We know a good product when we see one. Rik Christensen showed us his version of this product during this year PCT Zero Day Kick Off Event. He demonstrated it in the gear contest and he came home with third prize. It is the true definition of a multi-use product. It is designed to be a really, really light daypack. How many times have you been out on a trip and wished you had a daypack along for a side excursion. That way you could take along a few essentials, like water, map, jacket and camera. But who wants to carry a daypack in a backpack? The answer now is “you do”. It doesn’t stop with being a daypack. You can also use it as a stuff sack, a pillow, a water carrier (with bladder liner), and backcountry shower.
Here is what one of our most recent customers had to say about it. As you can see it is not only good on the trail:
“I am pleased with RikSak. I used it in the city when I only need a backpack part of the time – say, I am going 4 places around the city on my bike, and the 5th is the library to bring several books home. For the first 80% of the excursion, my “backpack” can be a RikSak and weighs 2 ounces and tucks in a back pocket. This is great. The straps are quite comfortable given the near-zero weight.” -Bruce Q.
