Jeff and his friends, John Wilson and Greg Rick, took some time out of their busy schedules to climb some 14′ers in the Crestone group and do some fishing in the South Colony Lakes. The Squall Classic was tested in very high winds with gusts up to 50 and 60 miles per hour. It performed flawlessly, as expected, with no tearing or ripping of the fabric and all guy points staying in place. John did get an introduction, however, to the noise new spinnaker can make in high winds. I explained to him that he was just going to have to use his Squall Classic more often in order to get past the “break-in” period.
