Hendrik is an active UL backpacker and blogger from Finland, and currently writes two books about backpacking in Finland. He is out  on the trail at least once or twice a month, and does a few longer  trips every year. In 2010 he organized the trekking-ultraleicht.de Forums Winter Tour. He is also a Founder of Nordic Lightpacking, a network of like-minded UL bloggers from the Nordics. When not backpacking he runs his own company, Korpi Consulting, an environmental management consultancy. Besides backpacking he likes to go fishing, packrafting and trail running.

Current Plans: Hendrik is currently doing an education to become a Wilderness Guide and is quite occupied with trips within the course – skiing expeditions in Lapland, backpacking in Russia and canoeing in Eastern Finland are on the curriculum. The next trip will be a UL mountain backpack in Scotland in December.
